Public Pools

Both pools are open for the Summer! Head on out and enjoy them while they are open.

Keene’s 2 municipal pools, located in Robin Hood Park and Wheelock Park, open for the summer months!

Hours of Operation 

  • Monday- Friday 1:00 PM to 6:45 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday- 12:00 PM to 5:45 PM

*Weekdays until school is closed our hours are 3:00 PM to 6:45 PM

Daily Admission 

  • $2.00 for children 6 thru 17 
  • $4.00 for ages 18 and older.

Season Passes
*Season passes must be purchased at the Keene Recreation Center!
Keene Residents

  • $35.00 child’s pass
  • $45.00 adult pass
  • $75.00 family pass
  • Residents who show a valid Medicaid or Healthy Kids insurance card will receive a season pool pass for $10.00, regardless of age.

Non-Residents fees 

  • $45.00 single child’s pass
  • $60.00 single adult pass 
  • $105.00 family pass.  

Swimming Lessons: Swimming lessons are taught at both pools Instructors on weekday mornings.  Cost for Keene Resident is $30/per person and $45/per person for non-residents.  Ages 5 (entering kindergarten) and older.

Swim Lessons for Session 2 will run from July 20th through August 13th!

Splash and Laugh Time: This is a time for water adjustment, for infants and children up to age 4 to get accustomed to the water. Parents or responsible adults must enter the water with the child.  Lifeguards will be on duty.  Sessions will be held at Wheelock Pool, Monday through Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM.  Cost for the 4 week series is Keene residents $20, non-residents $30.
