Keene Comprehensive Master Plan
On Monday, September 13, 2010 the Keene Planning Board voted unanimously to adopt the Keene Comprehensive Master Plan 2010. The City Council Planning, Licenses and Development Committee voted to recommend full Council endorsement via Resolution 2010-32.
Thanks to everyone that participated and gave their time, energy and input to the plan. This community has one heck-of-a guide for future growth and change. Now, the real fun begins! Time to implement! If you want to get involved in a project, have a project to suggest, would like to be included in master plan implementation updates or would like to help out, send an email to keenecmp@gmail.com or call the Planning Department at 603-352-5474.
What's next? Immediate next steps include the creation of an HTML website that will be home to the on-line version as well as printing and distributing hard copies. It is anticipated that this work will be completed by the end of this year. In the meantime, the PDF version of the plan can be accessed below. Feel free to print your own copy or download the file and take it to a local copy shop. Hard copies for the general public's use will be made available for check-out at the Keene Public Library after the New Year.
