FUN FACT: Did you know that there are two solar eclipses per year? The Keene Public Library is partnering with Astronomers Without Borders (AWB) to collect and redistribute solar eclipse glasses. AWB has been sending solar glasses for annular and total solar eclipse to those in need for educational programs since 2008. Please drop off your glasses at the library circulation desk so that others may use them to experience the magic of the Eclipse.
All glasses will be donated to future users, so please only drop off glasses that are in reusable condition. No glasses will be resold.
