School Street Project

SCHOOL STREET INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT

This School Street Infrastructure improvements project will include water, sewer and drain replacement and improvements to the curbing, road and sidewalk.  The project will involve School Street from the Court Street and the West Street intersections.

A public information meeting was held on March 12, 2012 and a Municipal Services, Facilities and Infrastructure committee meeting to present the project is scheduled for March 23, 2012.

Engineering and construction costs for the School Street Infrastructure project is estimated at $1,250,000. The funding for this Infrastructure project will be from the available City CIP budget accounts and approximately $800,000 from the State of New Hampshire and the American Resource and Recovery Act available funds.

The project is scheduled for construction starting in June 2012 through November 2012 with final cleanup and paving in 2013.  For additional information please contact James Donison, PE, City Engineer at 352-6550.
