FRIENDS OF OPEN SPACE IN KEENE
Created to identify, promote and actively seek to protect and preserve open space lands with natural, aesthetic and historic significance within and around the developed sections of Keene and adjoining towns.

ASHUELOT RIVER PARK ADVISORY BOARD
Created to promote, enhance and maintain the Ashuelot River Park for its present and future use, enjoyment and educational benefit for all residents of the City of Keene.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. / JONATHAN DANIELS COMMITTEE
Created to celebrate and honor the significance of the lives of Martin Luther King Jr. and Jonathan Daniels, and to promote the principles of social justice, non-violence, equality, and multiculturalism through educational programs, community service and public events. The committee is authorized to conduct fundraising events to further its goals. All gifts and donations presented to the Martin Luther King Jr./Jonathan Daniels committee shall be formally accepted by the city council.

BICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN PATH ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Created to coordinate study and recommend comprehensive bicycle/pedestrian pathway improvements, facilities, programs, plans, and projects to the City Council and other appropriate boards and committees for consideration and implementation for the Keene community.
Schedule: meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 8:30AM in the 4th Floor Conference Room at City Hall*

FRIENDS OF THE ARBORETUM AT ASHUELOT RIVER PARK
Created to provide sustainable volunteer efforts with maintenance and fundraising within the arboretum.
Schedule: meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:00PM in the board room of Masiello Group on 69A Island Street. For more information, contact George Foskett 603-283-1944.
