Looking for something to do during the week? Come to KPRD Teen Center! Check out the game room that has four flat screen TVs, Wii System, Kinect System, Pool Tables and Ping Pong. High School Students only! Join us on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Nights from 7-9PM.  Pick up your Recreation Center ID or pay the daily fee to come play!

Men's Basketball 2016
Games played at Keene High School on Sunday mornings. This league will start on January 3rd.

KPRD will offer its first ever Olympic league for adults this winter. Games will be played Sunday evenings for four weeks, playing a different game each week. Games will include Dodgeball, Indoor Soccer, Puff Ball, and Speedball. This league is designed for adults to have fun while increasing physical activity. Please be sure to have at least two females on your roster to be considered co-ed.
Fee: Team fee of $125.00
Deadline: Team registrations will be accepted until February 9th at 6:00 PM. A league meeting will then be held on February 9th to distribute rules to all team captains.

Zumba Gold
Pam will be back to teach on Tuesday and Thursday 10:30-11:30 AM; $48 per person for the 12 week session. Sign up now, session begins March 15th. Zumba gold is a bit slower paced, designed for beginners and the young at heart.

Pickleball is a raquet sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. The Recreation Center is now offering pick up Pickleball on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the Gym. Come meet new friends, try a new sport and increase your physical activity at the same time!
Fee: Daily fee of $2 or an annual Rec Center ID may be purchased for $30 at the main office!

The Keene Men’s Softball League will start its 2016 season in April. This league features six divisions to cover all levels of play and includes benefit tournaments, woodbat tournament, and large state tournament. Games are played at Wheelock park offering family fun for all!

This league features four divisions to cover all levels of play ranging from athletes with high school and college experience to players with no competitive experience. Hunter safety will be offered at the Recreation Center this April for individuals over 12 years. This course is limited to the first 40 registrants. Classes will meet from 6:15PM-9:00PM. Register online at huntnh.com or call Steve Runcy at (603)357-7728.























Recreation Center Indoor Walking

Walking is available at the recreation center during the summer from 7:00AM-10:30 AM Monday thru Friday in either the gym or multi -purpose room.  An annual ID card is required at a cost of $10 and may be purchased at the main office.  Current Senior Center members are eligible for a free walking pass.

Schedule changes will be posted in advance when possible. If you enjoy walking outdoors, take advantage of the walking path around the triangle of Fuller Park, in front of the Recreation Center. Seven times around equals a mile! You are also welcome to explore the trails around Goose Pond, Robin Hood Park, and the local bike paths. The Recreation Center has brochures for the nominal fee of 50 cents that give the locations of Keene’s Parks. There are also more detailed maps of the Goose Pond/Drummer Hill area for sale.

Plan your Party Now!

 KPRD has the responsibility of scheduling use of Central Square, Railroad Square and the Robin Hood Park amphitheater. Request forms are available to reserve spaces in these parks, some reservations require a nominal fee. The Recreation Center also has rooms that may be rented for parties, classes and events. Stop by 312 Washington Street, call the office at 357-9829 or download the necessary reservation form at www.keeneparks.com and fax to us at 1-603-283-5661. Most reservation forms may be submitted online also.

Greater Keene Women's Softball League

The Adult Modified Softball League is for ages 15 and up. The league is divided into 4 divisions: I, II, III, and IV. Division I is mostly composed of women who have competed in high school and/or college softball. Division II is composed of women who have competed in high school and possibly limited college soft ball. Division III is for women who may have competed in high school soft ball. Division IV is geared toward women who have limited or no softball competitive experience. The season runs from the end of April through the middle-August.
