Teen & Adult Activities

Looking for something to do during the week? Come to KPRD Teen Center! Check out the game room that has four flat screen TVs, Wii System, Kinect System, Pool Tables and Ping Pong. High School Students only! Join us on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Nights from 7-9PM.  Pick up your Recreation Center ID or pay the daily fee to come play!

Adult Activities

INDOOR WALKING
The Recreation Center offers a safe indoorwalking environment Monday-Friday Come meet new friends and increase your physical activity at the same time!
Fee: An annual Rec Center ID may be purchased for $10 at the office. Members of the Keene Senior Center will receive an ID free of charge!

SENIOR SHAPE UP
CLASSES ONGOING
Women’s Senior Shape Up with Griselda is offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday year round at the Recreation Center from 9:00AM-10:00AM. Griselda combines stretching and aerobics in a fun atmosphere for participants of all levels of physical fitness.
Fee: $2.00 per class.

ADULT CO-ED KICKBALL
STARTING SEPTEMBER 11TH
KPRD will offer a Fall Adult Kickball League starting September 11th to be played Sunday mornings for 7 weeks including playoffs. This league is designed for adults to have fun while increasing their physical activity.
Fee: Team fee of $125.00. due at registration.
Deadline: Rosters and league fee are due Wednesday, September 7th by 5:00PM. Rosters can be downloaded by clicking here. To find a copy of the league rules please click here.
Location: Carpenter Field
A league meeting will be held September 7th at 5:00PM at the Recreation Center. League rules will be distributed at the meeting to team captains.

ADULT CO-ED SOCCER
STARTING JANUARY 8TH
This league is designed for adults to have fun while increasing physical activity. Rosters can be downloaded at by clicking here. Games will take place Sundays for 9 weeks including playoffs.
Fee: Team fee of $125.00 due at registration.
Deadline: Team registrations will be accepted until Janurary 2nd at 5:00 PM. A league meeting will then be held to distribute rules to all team captains.

MEN’S BASKETBALL LEAGUE
STARTING JANUARY 8TH
KPRD is accepting rosters for the 2017 season. Rosters can be downloaded at by clicking here. Teams must have a minimum of 8 players. Games will take place at Keene High School through March, including playoffs.
Fee: Team binder fee of $750.00
Deadline: Rosters and league fee are due at registration by November 9th at 5:00 PM. No rosters will be accepted without full payment.

PICKLEBALL
Pickleball is a raquet sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. The Recreation Center is now offering pick up Pickleball on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the Gym. Come meet new friends, try a new sport and increase your physical activity at the same time!
Fee: Daily fee of $2 or an annual Rec Center ID may be purchased for $30 at the main office! 

ZUMBA GOLD
STARTING SEPTEMBER 13TH
Zumba Gold is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30-11:30 AM in the Gym. Zumba Gold is a bit slower paced, designed for beginners and the young at heart! The program follows the school year calendar and will not run during the summer months. This session will run from September 13th through November 17th.
Fee: $60 for 10 week session.

QIGONG CLASSES
CLASSES ONGOING
Qigong is a very gentle, but powerful Eastern form of exercise thousands of years old. The slow and simple movements encourage the smooth flow of Qi (energy) and when practiced regularly, promotes longevity, decreases pain, and alleviates stress while increasing balance, strength, and flexability. Most importantly, it teaches awareness of yourself and the world around you.This class is designed for individuals of all levels of physicall fitness and capabilities.
Fee: $3.00 per class.
Classes meet Tuesdays from 11:30 AM- 12:30PM in Room 14 at the Recreation Center.
