Franconia Notch Trip- Tuesday October 7th

Join KPRD as we take the vans to beautiful Franconia Notch to hike the Flume Gorge and take the tramway. We will leave KPRD at 8:00 AM and be back by 5:30PM. The Flume Gorge is a stunning natural wonder will leave you spellbound as you stroll the path from the Visitors Center to the Flume and back. You'll walk among towering moss-covered granite walls, past cascading waterfalls, historic covered bridges, glacial boulders and much more. After we finish with the Flume we will head over to the Aerial Tramway to take an 80-passenger cable car brings visitors to the 4,080-foot summit of Cannon Mountain in less than ten minutes. On a clear day, you can see the mountains of four states and Canada! At the summit, you'll find spectacular scenic walking paths, a 360 degree observation deck, a cafe, bar and restrooms .Lunch will be on your own! The cost for this trip is $35 a person will include transportation and tickets.

The Big E- A van trip to the Big E, New England’s great state fair in Agawam, Massachusetts is planned for September 23rd. $25 per person takes care of admission and travel costs.  Food and souvenirs are on your own!
