Signs On Public Property Not Allowed

There are many signs currently placed on public property, including campaign signs. They are showing up in roundabouts, parks, sidewalks, along the roadside, etc. This is not permitted and can cause safety concerns. Please do not place signage (or any materials) on public property, and remove signs that may already be in place.

City Code, Chapter 82, Article III: "Obstructions", prohibits the placement of any material in the public right-of-way or on public property (unless specifically authorized by the Director of Public Works.)

Any signs that have been removed by City personnel are stored temporarily and may be retrieved by the owner at the Public Works building at 350 Marlboro Street.
