Woodstove Changeout Program

If you are a Keene resident and currently operate an uncertified woodstove as your primary or secondary source of heat then you may be eligible for a $1,000 voucher toward a new, certified wood, pellet, or gas stove. Just fill out the Rebate Application (see link below or at any of the participating dealers) and submit the required information to get the process started. The program is running from October 22nd, 2009 – January 29th, 2010 and vouchers are limited so don’t wait! More details are below.

 Consumer Checklist
1.      Determine current stove eligibility.
2.      Apply for $1,000 voucher (include picture of old stove) and apply for permit.
3.      Take voucher to a participating retailer.
4.      Ask about financing and other discounts.
